NAPS will be hosting the 5th Annual Earth Day Festival in “Downtown” Heathsville during the season’s first Farmers Market – Saturday, April 20, 2019, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., with dozens of environmental exhibits and activities set up by NAPS and other organizations. It’s free and open to the public.
By popular demand, NAPS is planning another “All-Electric Car” exhibit – check out the future of transportation! Also, NAPS will be giving away free reusable grocery bags at the “Earth Day Pledge Tree,” and hopes to have more renewable energy exhibits again this year, including the proposal to add solar to Northumberland schools by the 6th Grade Problem Solvers.
