The White Stone Methodist Church at 118 Methodist Church Road in White Stone is planning to hold an electronics recycling event on Saturday, May 11, 2024.
Tech For Troops, a 501c nonprofit located in Richmond, will be on-site to collect the electronics. The donations will then be wiped clean using a program utilized by the US Government. Then the equipment is refurbished and donated to veterans and their families free of charge. Tech For Troops has been operating for 10 years.
All types of electronics will be accepted (phones, tablets, pc’s, desktops, cables, monitors, servers, keyboards, mice, and other computer parts, etc.).
The church will also have a bake sale with proceeds going to Tech for Troops.
