Recent Bald Eagle Survey on the Rappahannock

Recently, CBF Senior Educator and Photographer Bill Portlock bundled up on a cold, January day and made his way out on the Rappahannock River for a midwinter bald eagle survey with Bill Crouch of the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service. In just one day, they spotted nearly 200 eagles! Video by the Chesapeake Bay Foundation.
