Northumberland County’s Fall 2019 Household Hazardous Waste Collection will take place Saturday, September 21 from 9AM until 2PM at the bus parking lot in front of Northumberland Middle School. Electronic waste is also going to be accepted at the event.
Please bring: household chemicals (oil based paint, cleaners, solvents, pesticides, used or old petroleum products, etc), spent florescent and CFL bulbs, rechargeable batteries, etc. DON’T bring radioactive items, explosives or ammunition, medical waste or medications.
Acceptable electronics include: computers, printers, monitors, tablets, CPUs, TVs, cell phones, VCRs and DVD players. Please DO NOT bring other household electrics such as appliances.
This event is for residents and property owners in Northumberland County only. No items may be dropped off after the 2PM ending of the event.
