Important Survey for Local Producers

The Northern Neck Soil and Water Conservation District, the Virginia Association of Soil and Water Conservation Districts, and Virginia Cooperative Extension invite all producers who farm within the Chesapeake Bay Watershed and especially in the Northern Neck to participate in an important survey, the Virginia Farm Voluntary Agricultural Best Management Practices Inventory aka the Chesapeake Bay Farmer Survey. Northern Neck farmers, this is your chance to highlight all that you do with implementing voluntary Best Management Practices (BMPs). The efforts put forth by local producers are a story that needs to be told.

The information obtained through this survey will help Virginia tell the story of what farmers are voluntarily doing to conserve soil and improve water quality in the Chesapeake Bay region. This is incredibly important information that can help agriculture achieve its water quality goals called for within the WIP III.  Please take time to be a part of the story.
