Please join us for the Westmoreland County Spring 2025 Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Collection event on Saturday, May 17, 2025, from 9AM-2PM. This event will be held at the A. T. Johnson Building parking lot in Montross. This free event is open to all Westmoreland County residents and property owners.
PLEASE BRING spent fluorescent bulbs, unwanted pesticides, antifreeze, rechargeable batteries, cleaners, oil-based paint, stains, solvents, old/contaminated fuels or petroleum products, used oil, and household chemicals.
At this event, C&F Bank in Montross is sponsoring the Shred-it truck for onsite document shredding. Westmoreland County Sheriff’s will also be present to collect prescription drugs.
DO NOT BRING electronics, automotive batteries, tires, radioactive items or ammunition and explosives.
EVENT IS OPEN TO WESTMORELAND COUNTY RESIDENTS AND PROPERTY OWNERS ONLY.-
