Please join us for the Westmoreland County Spring 2026 Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) & Electronic Waste Collection event on Saturday, May 16, 2026, from 8AM-12PM. This event will be held at the A. T. Johnson Building parking lot in Montross. This free event is open to all Westmoreland County residents and property owners.
EXCITING NEWS – We will be accepting electronics at this event!!
PLEASE BRING electronics such as TVs, computers, cell phones, stereo systems, gaming systems and much more.
PLEASE ALSO BRING spent fluorescent bulbs, unwanted pesticides, antifreeze, rechargeable batteries, cleaners, oil-based paint, stains, solvents, old/contaminated fuels or petroleum products, used oil, and household chemicals.
Westmoreland County Sheriff’s will also be present to collect prescription drugs.
DO NOT BRING tires, radioactive items or ammunition and explosives.
EVENT IS OPEN TO WESTMORELAND COUNTY RESIDENTS AND PROPERTY OWNERS ONLY.
