The Rappahannock River Valley National Wildlife Refuge is hosting two FREE Kids’ Fishing Days for kids ages 4 to 15: June 6 at Wilna Pond and June 13 at the Port Royal Town pier. 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
Fishing equipment and bait, along with basic instruction or expert tips will be provided. FREE hot dogs, drinks, and prizes. Space is limited, so please go to RWRFriends.org to register. You can also email fishing@rwrfriends.org or call 804 250-6528 for information or to reserve a spot.
Wilna Pond is located off Newland Rd. at 1278 Wilna Rd, Warsaw, VA 22572. The Port Royal pier is at the end of King St. in the Town of Port Royal.
